FRESNO roots

my snack today:
local figs from farmers market, greek plain yogurt, local honey and pistachios.
use the figs as dippers for the yogurt.
hot damn it was good!
for all the years (18 to be exact) i lived in the valley and had 5 fig trees in my own back yard, i NEVER ate any. they creeped me out. well life is cyclical and i take pride in the valley and it's produce now. up next, Fresno dancing raisins!
