american leather?!

high point market is going on now through april 26th. furniture companies display their newest designs about to hit retail.  apartment therapy has been tweeting photos from the show and i must say american leather is blowing my mind right now with the pieces they're displaying.  i wouldn't have guessed in a million years they'd produce something i'd really like to own.  below are two delicious morsels from the show (photos via apartment therapy)

i found this picture of an outdoor table in last month's food and wine mag. love the idea of herbs....or whatever for that matter, growing down the middle. easy to make and cool. a living centerpiece.

my mom is in carmel this week/end staying with friends while working at the US Open. she sent me these photos yesterday from her friend's yard. my mom know i'm a succulent freak so these were right up my alley. super clever use of recycled objects. nice work!

from the seller of the bird dress comes these fine finds... like her stuff. bit spendy for used but cool all the same. as much as i like to get my thrift on, i have no patience for the clothing section. searching piece by piece in a mountain of cloth is just not my style. i'll let others dig and i'll buy their sorted treasures.
