There will be a screening at Cinefamily,611 N.Fairfax Ave , LA ,90036 , on thursday July 31, at 10:15 pm , as part of the Don't Knock the Rock film festival. The film features electrifying performances from Ranking Joe, U-Roy, Sister Nancy , Sugar Minott , Brigadier Jerry ,and many more, as well as interviews exploring the history of Soundsystem Reggae and its role in the creation of Hip Hop. There will be a live performance by the Echodelic Soundsystem with special guests in the theater following the screening.
