:::RIP:::

BIG loss in the music world. mr. gregory isaacs passed away today of cancer in his home in london. i've been going to his shows since high school and have seen him all over the west coast. he's old school, the cool ruler, a reggae legends and will be missed.

here come the germans

i'm doing a little project right now with family photos so my dad recently gave me a box of OLD ones from his side, some dating to the early 1900's. they are beyond wild to look at being that they are of my earliest relatives in the United States. if only they knew i'd be looking at them now in 2010......

aries

i just found this tasty rams head table in the new issue of Lonny magazine...
as well as criagslist!
but behold my pets...the peeps selling it want $550, without the glass and worst of all, you have to drive to LANASTER to get it.
too much meth breath for my style.
but still dreamy.

one in 8 million

the ny times has an amazing series online of photographic stories of people...along with their own words. each covers a different topic and each lasts about 3 minutes. i can't get enough of them. i think this is why i chose cultural anthropology as my major. people. our differences, our similarities. check this website out. it beats the hell out of tv.

some favorites of mine from the series:
Stefanie Rinza:The Animal Rescuer
Joseph Cotton: The Grandfather
William A. Thomas: The Regular

i could go on but instead, you choose your own.....
