luv to japan

i found this graphic made for the low end theory and thought it was perfect.  nothing but LOVE for Japan.  everyday seems more and more devastating with new problems and more earthquakes.  i'm amazed by the Japanese's continued strength.  i think california would be a REAL mess if this disaster was here.  so much to learn from all of this. STAY STRONG JAPAN!

i feel the earth move under my feet....again

just felt the second earthquake in 3 days. first was 5.0, this one was 4.1. enough already!

5.8 quake!

boy did i feel it! just as it started, i was picking up a glass of water. i spilled it and realized the ground was moving...big time. i walked to my kitchen and saw the chandler swaying and my kitchen cabinets opening. then bang, bang. pictures fell off the walls. at this point i decided i MIGHT want to stand in a doorway. the quake was pretty long and i've felt two aftershocks since, but all is well on the long beach front. hopefully that's it's for now.
