guess who moved in upstairs from my apartment? yep. that's right. probation officer. lady cop type. she moved into a one bedroom apartment from her HOUSE in riverside (another bad sign). she wants to be closer to work. let's just say she doesn't look like a barrel of laughs. i hope she can handle the parties and heavy drug use downstairs. oh wellllll.....we lived here first. we have RIGHTS damnet.
My patience and waiting has finally paid off. HIMSELF will be performing with Scarub from Living Legends and Kruse @ Blue Cafe in Long Beach. Show will be this Saturday. Great spot to see live music up close and personal. Don't miss this one. I've been waiting to see Himself for daze but he rarely plays live and when he does, it's usually far away from me. The guy RULES. You'll thank me!
that's right people, @ the Hollywood Forever Cemetery this Saturday. i missed the movies all summer and i'm bound and determined to get my booty to this. good pre-halloween scare/laugh fest. i heard it's best to get there early since it fills up. AND adult beverages are A-Ok with this place. hallelujah! PLUS>>>>>dj set before and after show. just my kinda venue.
it's that time again, another SPSA fundrasier is here. these homies have put a bunch of sweat and love into the park and it's time we all donate some cash to help it grow. if you haven't been there recently, i HIGHLY recommend you check it out. amazing work. check out the website
Anaheim House of Blues

Killingsworth. to the week ahead and my upcoming trip to big sur. SO pumped to be in the fresh air again and spend some quality time with my #1.
boy did i feel it! just as it started, i was picking up a glass of water. i spilled it and realized the ground was moving...big time. i walked to my kitchen and saw the chandler swaying and my kitchen cabinets opening. then bang, bang. pictures fell off the walls. at this point i decided i MIGHT want to stand in a doorway. the quake was pretty long and i've felt two aftershocks since, but all is well on the long beach front. hopefully that's it's for now.
