city slicker

back in the bay area...week 2 of work. week 2 of gorgeous weather. unbelievable really this late into october.

i'm staying in SOMA...21st floor this round. i used to spend some serious time in this city 6 years ago. i lived in monterey for 3 years but spent almost every weekend in sf where my friends and the action was. my plan was to move to sf after my stint in Mo. town, but love took me south. now that i'm back, i'm finding my love for the city is strong as ever.

Yesterday i rolled down to the Los Gatos/Santa Cruz mts. to visit my sister on her vineyard. amongst the vines, she's also got a bangin garden and hens...all with names of course. the ladies are molting but dropping eggs left and right. check these beauties out! i can't wait to have a coup myself.





so as you can tell, i'm getting my city and country livin fixes. heaven for sure.

my weekend ahead

even thought i'm deep in the packing/moving process, i've decided to take a break and join my work and enjoy a weekend of music and partying. Sambazon will have a booth and roaming carts in the general admission area plus a booth in the VIP zone which i'll be working. i'm bring my new camera to document my adventures and sightings.

wheelchairs @ walmart

so sambazon is now in walfart. part of my mission here is to check 'em out. rad. today i hit 15 and was shocked and horrified at how LARGE america is. i never knew skin could stretch like that or just certain body parts could be 10x their size. on some it was the jumbo arms. others had the rolling valley legs with bubbles of fat popping out in random spots. and the F.U.P'S!!! oh the F.U.P'S. fat-upper _____ insert male or female genitalia. and the ever popular elastic waistband, polyester bottoms with festive floral tops to cover it all. did i mention the perms?! and this was the under 30 crowd. damn.

luckily for these guys, there were electric carts and WHEELCHAIRS!?!?!!? offered at the front door of each and every store. i'm talking about a dozen or so. i've been doing the master cleanse while i've been here...aka liquid cleanse. this sight has been a highly motivating factor every day.
